Meetings

Meetings are held on the third Monday of each month, with conversation at 7:00 PM before the main presentation at 7:30 PM. You do not have to be a member to attend. Meetings are held at USNH Link to map of USNH location.

Board meetings are usually held on the following Sunday at 3:30 PM, and are open to all members of the association. There is no board meeting in December as we hold our annual meeting that month.

Humanist Explorations meetings are held once each month, usually on the first Saturday afternoon of the month at 2:30 PM. The location is almost always the library at USNH Link to map of USNH location.

We also hold in-depth book discussions about once a month, on the third Saturday of the month from 2:00 to 4:00 PM. To get the most out of these meetings, please read the book before attending. You may be able to obtain the suggested reading material at a Bibliomation library near you. If you do not read the book, you should mostly listen.

We hold dinner meetings at various restaurants around the state. This gives members a chance to get together and socialize without a long drive to our normal base in Hamden. Our New Haven area dinners are usually held on the first Monday of the month at 7:00 PM.

In 2017 we added a dinner/discussion held on the fourth Monday of the month, usually at the Wood-n-Tap in Hamden.
